All Types of Construction

If it's residential construction in Massachusetts, we build it

Custom builds, structural work, additions, renovations, exterior envelope, and everything in between. One licensed team, one point of contact, no subcontractor games. Locally owned and family-built across Greater Boston and MetroWest.

What We Build

One team for every type of residential construction

Most homeowners don't fit cleanly into a single service category. A kitchen project becomes a kitchen + dining room knock-out. A bathroom remodel turns into an addition. A new deck triggers exterior siding work. We're built for projects that span multiple trades — and we're a single accountable team from design through final walkthrough.

Custom builds and additions

From bump-outs and three-season sunrooms to full second-story additions, in-law suites, and detached structures. Every addition starts with a structural evaluation and an honest conversation about what your existing home can support, what permits will require, and what the schedule actually looks like. We handle architectural drawings, structural engineering, permits, foundation work, framing, and finish carpentry.

Structural remodeling

Load-bearing wall removals, beam installations, foundation underpinning, post-and-beam repairs, ceiling height changes, and floor system reinforcement. Every structural project involves a licensed structural engineer on our side reviewing plans before any framing is touched. We work with Greater Boston code officials weekly and know what to expect from each town's review process.

Exterior envelope and weatherization

Roofing, siding, windows, doors, trim, soffit, fascia, gutters, and air-sealing. Most homes built before 1985 have significant heat loss through gaps in their thermal envelope. A full-envelope project addresses everything at once — typically saving 25–40% on heating bills in New England.

Custom carpentry and built-ins

Built-in bookshelves, window seats with storage, mudroom benches, custom closets, wall paneling, coffered ceilings, fireplace surrounds, and trim work. The kind of finish details that make a home feel intentional rather than generic.

Restoration and historic homes

Many of our projects are in 1920s-1950s homes across Brookline, Newton, Wellesley, and the surrounding towns. We're experienced with horsehair plaster, original molding profiles, knob-and-tube wiring, balloon framing, and the other surprises that come with older Massachusetts homes. We respect what's worth preserving and replace what isn't.

Project scopes we routinely combine

  • Kitchen + dining room open-up (wall removal + beam install)
  • Bathroom + bedroom suite reconfiguration
  • Basement finish + bathroom add
  • Deck + screen porch + outdoor kitchen
  • Siding + windows + roofing (full envelope at once)
  • Addition + interior renovation of existing rooms
  • Garage conversion to living space + new garage build

General Construction FAQs

Do you handle projects outside the standard categories?

Yes. If your project doesn't fit neatly into kitchens or bathrooms, that's actually our specialty. Call (781) 517-9760 or send a quick note and we'll come look. Free in-home consultation, no pressure.

Can you handle structural changes?

Yes. Load-bearing wall removals, beam installations, foundation work, and roof structural changes are all routine. Every structural project involves a licensed structural engineer on our team reviewing plans before framing is touched.

How do you price projects that span multiple categories?

Each scope is itemized separately so you can see exactly what's costing what. If you want to phase the project (kitchen first, addition later), we'll price each phase independently with clear hand-off points.

What licenses do you carry?

We're a licensed Massachusetts Construction Supervisor and a registered Home Improvement Contractor (HIC). Both are required to legally perform residential construction in Massachusetts and both can be verified through the state licensing board.
